We collect two categories of information:
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data through the Site. Please do not submit confidential matter details before a formal engagement is in place.
We process personal data to: respond to your inquiries and consultation requests; provide and administer our services; operate, secure and improve the Site; carry out analytics; and comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations. With your consent, we may also send you occasional firm updates or legal insights, which you can decline at any time.
We process personal data in accordance with the LFPDPPP, its Regulations and applicable secondary provisions, on the basis of your consent and of the legitimate purposes described above. Where the law requires it, we will obtain your express consent before processing.
The Site uses essential cookies necessary for its operation and analytics cookies (for example, Google Analytics) that help us understand how the Site is used. You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings; disabling certain cookies may affect Site functionality. Where required, analytics are activated only with your consent.
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We may share it with trusted service providers (encargados) who process data on our behalf under confidentiality and data-protection obligations, and with authorities where required by law, court order or to protect rights, safety or property. Any transfer is carried out in accordance with the LFPDPPP.
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected and to comply with our legal, accounting and professional obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymized.
You have the right to Access, Rectify, Cancel and Object (ARCO) to the processing of your personal data, and to revoke your consent or limit its use and disclosure. To exercise these rights, email privacy@blackboxmx.com with proof of identity and a description of your request. We will respond within the timeframes established by the LFPDPPP. If you are not satisfied, you may contact Mexico’s data-protection authority (INAI).
We maintain administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal data, consistent with our professional duty of confidentiality. Where we use artificial-intelligence tools to support our work, we do so only under contractual assurances that client and personal data will not be used to train third-party models, and all outputs are reviewed by licensed attorneys.
Because we operate in Mexico and the United States, your personal data may be processed in either country. Where data is transferred across borders, we apply safeguards consistent with applicable law.
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. The Site does not currently respond to such signals.
The Site is intended for businesses and professionals and is not directed to minors. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.
We may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time. Amendments take effect when posted, and the “Effective date” above will be updated. Please review this Policy periodically.
